Welcome to Uralba

Uralba has a tranquil setting over looking the peaceful village of Carcoar set in the valley of the Belubula River. The buildings of Uralba have been designed to complement the heritage architecture of the Carcoar village.

Uralba Retirement Village comprises a hostel for frail aged. The original sixteen unit complex has been expanded, and a new eight room wing was officially opened by the Governor of New South Wales on the 23rd of March 2013.

Uralba Respite Care offers high quality respite accommodation. If your carer needs a holiday or needs to be away for a longer period of time, this will be ideal for you.

Uralba also comprises self care units with views of the village.

Uralba’s Mission Statement

It is the aim of the Board of Directors, Management and Staff to provide a safe, secure and homely environment for the elderly residents of Uralba.

Uralba’s mission is to preserve the rights to dignity and privacy, along with encouraging residents to live as independently as possible, and to empower them to participate in the day to day decisions of the Hostel.
